Week Seven Pupdate

It’s hard to believe this journey began five months ago in September of 2023.  That’s when we started getting ready for this litter with Ginger and Kai.  This has been an amazing litter of pups and it has been wonderful getting to know all of you as well.

We’re at week 7 and more than half of these pups will be going to their forever families one week from today.  This last week is very busy for us and because of that, we will make it our last “pupdate” for the litter.  The pups need a lot of play time and supervision….they are very active and we spend good amount of time with them for exercise and to keep them out of trouble.  This is also the week we take them to the vet for their first set of puppy vaccinations.  We’re still trying to figure how we are going to get 11 puppies, all at once, to the vet…wish us luck 🙂

Everyone continues to do well and the average weight of the pups is now between 10-11 lbs.  Dark Purple and Pink are still the biggest two at 13 and 12 pound respectively, Light Blue remains our petite little girl at 9 pounds.  Potty training has improved dramatically over the last week and the puppy “messes” have reduced to almost nothing.

They all did very well for photos this week and since it’s Valentine’s week, we thought a little Cupid theme to the photos for week 7 would be cute.
