Keep in mind we are a low-volume, family breeder with a focus on premium genetics.  We only produce 1-2 litters a year.  Because of that, our pups are highly sought after, and some clients have waited more than 12 months to purchase a pup.

The majority of our puppies are pre-sold through the subscriber list.  If you are interested in our uniquely colored Red Fox Labradors, we encourage you to join the notification list at no obligation.

You will receive regular updates on future litters and have an early opportunity to secure a pup before we post them online.

Puppy Pricing

Our puppy investment has ranged from $1,800 – $2,500 per dog over the years.

Why does it vary? The final cost of the litter depends on the stud fee, as well as veterinary and food costs, which tend to change with every breeding cycle.

To achieve our premium genetics and litter diversity, we seek out top-quality studs from around the country to breed with. Stud fees can cost us from $1,000 to $3,500 for a single breeding depending on the bloodline and heritage of the male. Stud fees do not include the vet and travel costs associated with the actual breeding process…it can be an expensive endeavor.

Because of all these variables, we don’t know our final breeding costs until they occur, and those fees are factored into the final price of a pup. In September of 2024, our last litter sold for $2,400 per pup with full AKC registration rights, deworming, a health guarantee, and the first set of vaccinations.  Exact pricing will be posted when we begin accepting deposits.

Join Our Mailing List

We plan our litters 6-12 months in advance.  Exact timing is dependent on the heat cycles of our females which can vary.  Join our mailing list, at no obligation, to get early notice of puppy and litter availability. Most of our pups are pre-sold through the subscriber list.

Heat Cycle Begins

When our females begin their heat cycle, subscribers are notified of an upcoming litter.  Females Labradors typically have a heat cycle every 6-8 months.

Heat Cycle

Breeding

10-14 Days later

Female Labradors reach their peak fertility approximately 10-14 days after their heat cycle begins.  Within this window of time, the sire and our dam are brought together at our vet for breeding.

X-Ray

Late in the pregnancy, between 6-8 weeks, our vet will x-ray the female.  This will determine the exact number of puppies in the litter and make sure they are in the proper position for birth.  Gender cannot be determined via x-ray so we still won’t know the number of males / females until birth.

6-Weeks Post Breeding

60-63 Days After Breeding

Puppies Arrive

When the puppies are born and we have a pup in your preferred gender, we will send you a puppy agreement via e-mail.  Once the agreement is signed, your position in the pick order is secured and deposits become non-refundable.  If we do not have a puppy that meets your requirements, we will roll your deposit to the next litter or issue a prompt refund, your choice.
